CMS DIRECT WINS BIGGEST LOSER COMPETITION After four and a half months, the 2 nd annual Biggest Loser Competition among Marshfield area businesses has come to an end. The competition began in January and wrapped up on June 7 th . This year, the team from CMS Direct “Pirates of the Skinny Pants” takes the title of Biggest Loser Champion, with 6.3% weight loss. About 125 people from 11 area businesses participated in the competition. Together, the teams lost nearly 740 pounds. The competition has inspired many not only to lose weight, but also to make healthy lifestyle changes. Greg Kolodziej from the Wood County Health Department has done just that. He has made significant lifestyle changes and the contest has given him a realistic and positive attitude. “It has been a challenge and there have been fluctuations but the end goal remains the same – slow and steady weight loss, mini goals to the end goal of my ideal weight for my height. It might take a year or even two but I'm realistic about this weight loss and lifestyle change.”
The team from CMS Direct holds the “traveling trophy” given to each year's winner.
